Simplex Infrastructures Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024. The company reported a net loss of Rs. 3,358 crore during this period, alongside overdue debts of Rs. 84,225 crore.
A Master Restructuring Agreement with National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited has been executed to manage these debts.
The management believes in a going concern basis for the business, citing confidence in recovering overdue loans and unbilled revenues, estimated at Rs. 75,080 crore.
The recent losses and high debt levels may generate a cautious sentiment among investors, although ongoing restructuring efforts could provide a positive outlook if successful.
