Apollo Tyres has raised its stake in Green Infra Wind Power Projects Ltd to 21.27% by acquiring an additional 3.43%. Green Infra operates a 24 MW wind power plant in Tamil Nadu with a turnover of about Rs. 23.5 Cr in FY24. This move deepens Apollo’s commitment to renewable energy, aligning with its clean energy targets and possibly lowering power costs over time.

The deal, at Rs. 6 lakh for 60,000 shares, is a strategic step toward greener operations with limited immediate financial impact.
