Shemaroo Entertainment has announced a board meeting on acquiring 100% equity of Aikyam Entertainment Pvt Ltd, a media and broadcasting firm with an estimated FY25 turnover of Rs 19.23 Cr.

The Rs 14.03 Cr cash deal aligns with Shemaroo’s strategy to expand its broadcast portfolio.

Three Shemaroo promoter directors also serve on Aikyam’s board, marking this as a related party transaction.

Expected to close by end-May 2025, the acquisition will enhance Shemaroo’s content distribution and broadcasting strength.
