BASF India is spinning off its Agricultural Solutions Business, covering crop protection chemicals, seeds, and digital agri-tech, into a separately listed entity, BASF Agricultural Solutions India Ltd. This segment contributed 13.6% to BASF India’s turnover in FY25. The move aims to provide focused management, greater operational flexibility, and improved capital allocation for the agri-chemical segment.

BASF India shareholders will receive shares in the new company on a 1:1 basis, unlocking value and allowing both businesses to sharpen their strategic focus.
