Sparkle Gold Rock Limited has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year.

The company reported total income of Rs. 906.71 lakhs for the year, mainly from operations, but posted a net loss of Rs. 24.50 lakhs compared to a profit of Rs. 320.74 lakhs in the previous year.

The loss was attributed to higher expenses and reduced other income, including absence of prior-year profit on asset sale.

Total assets increased to Rs. 517.67 lakhs driven by growth in trade receivables and cash, while borrowings rose to Rs. 45.15 lakhs from related parties.

Equity stood at Rs. 112.24 lakhs with diluted EPS at -Rs. 0.55. Operationally, depreciation and employee costs were minimal; legal and statutory expenses rose sharply.

The company has no significant contingent liabilities or capital commitments.
