Quasar India Limited has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year.
The company reported revenue from operations of ₹1,192.52 lakh in the latest quarter, up from ₹844.29 lakh in the same period last year.
However, it posted a loss before tax of ₹424.07 lakh in the quarter versus a profit before tax of ₹7.16 lakh a year ago.
For the full year, profit before tax was marginal at ₹3.56 lakh, down from ₹237.11 lakh previously.
Equity share capital remained unchanged at ₹535.25 lakh.
The statutory auditor issued an unmodified audit opinion.
No dividend has been declared for the year.
The company operates solely in the trading segment and raised ₹48.16 Cr through a rights issue, fully utilized as planned.
Related party transactions mainly include director and company secretary remuneration.
