Colab Platforms has announced a board meeting and revealed its entry into the esports arena with a vision to build India’s most rewarding competitive gaming ecosystem.

The platform will offer accessible, frequent competitive formats, creator-led tournaments, and proprietary game servers, initially focusing on Counter-Strike 2 and later expanding to AAA and mobile titles.

With over 594 million online gamers in India and esports expected to contribute Rs.1100+ crore to the economy by 2025, Colab has also launched a Rs.25 Cr accelerator program to foster sports-tech innovation.

This move aligns with Colab’s broader strategy to develop a comprehensive 360° sports ecosystem.
