HPL Electric and Power has sent reminders to shareholders for claiming unpaid dividends from FY 2017-18. Unclaimed dividends and associated shares are liable to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) if not claimed by the deadline.

Shareholders can still claim dividends and shares by submitting the required documents to the Registrar.

This process impacts shareholders who have missed dividend claims over the last seven years, with future corporate benefits on such shares credited to IEPF once transferred.
