ONGC has announced a board meeting to discuss a partnership with Mitsui O.S.K Lines Ltd (MOL) to build, own, and operate two Very Large Ethane Carriers (VLECs). These carriers will transport imported ethane to ONGC Petro Additions Limited (OPaL) for use as feedstock.

This move aims to strengthen ONGC's supply chain for petrochemical production, potentially enhancing operational efficiency and supporting downstream growth.
