Bengal & Assam Company Limited has informed shareholders that equity shares with unpaid or unclaimed dividends for seven consecutive years from FY 2017-18 will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPF Authority). Shareholders have been notified to claim their dividends before the deadline, failing which shares will be transferred without further notice.

Shareholders can reclaim shares from the IEPF Authority by applying through the prescribed form available on the IEPF website.

The company also urges shareholders holding physical shares to update their KYC and other details with the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent to avoid inconvenience.
