Amal Ltd has announced a board meeting on which Dr. Mahabaleshwar Ganpat Palekar was appointed as an additional Independent Director, effective August 1, 2025, for a five-year term subject to shareholder approval.

Dr. Palekar brings over 30 years of experience in management and strategic planning, with past leadership roles in Atul Ltd and Rhodia India.

He currently advises international and Indian companies and holds advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering and Technology.

His appointment strengthens the board’s expertise in pharmaceuticals and chemicals, supporting the company’s strategic growth.
