This funding will advance EESL's greenfield project in Bengaluru, focused on manufacturing lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and packs for India's growing EV and stationary power markets.
EESL recorded a turnover of Rs 116.89 Cr and a loss of Rs 209.12 Cr for FY25 as it establishes its operations.
This move strengthens EIL's strategic position in the advanced battery technology space.
