Malavika Hegde, spouse of late V. G. Siddhartha, has informed that 575,000 equity shares previously pledged from V. G. Siddhartha's promoter holding have been released.

These shares were encumbered for borrowings by Coffee Day Enterprises' group companies.

This release reduces the promoter's pledged holdings, a positive development signaling improved financial flexibility for the company.
