Singer India reported a challenging first quarter for FY26. Revenue declined to Rs. 92.1 Cr from Rs. 98.7 Cr in the prior year, mainly due to lower home appliance sales from a short summer and deferred large sewing machine orders.

This resulted in a net loss of Rs. 2.4 Cr, compared to a profit of Rs. 0.6 Cr previously, also impacted by higher marketing and team expansion costs.

A significant positive is the Rs. 202.7 Cr bulk order for black sewing machines under a government scheme, received in July and expected to be completed by September 2026, which should boost future performance.
