The National Green Tribunal has cleared the path for the proposed Tirupati Balaji Temple in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, dismissing an environmental petition.

Opponents had argued the project violated Coastal Regulation Zone norms and endangered local ecosystems.

However, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) successfully demonstrated the construction site is outside these restricted zones and committed to full regulatory compliance for future work.

This decision removes a key legal hurdle, allowing the significant temple project to proceed.
