Darjeeling Ropeway Company's Board has approved a major expansion of its business activities.

This involves adding new clauses to its Memorandum of Association, allowing the company to venture into diverse sectors.

These include trading in aviation spare parts, developing solar energy systems, manufacturing electronics, dealing in electric vehicles and semiconductors, offering IT consultancy, processing and trading agro-food products, and manufacturing various types of machinery.

This strategic move aims to broaden operational scope, pending shareholder approval, and could significantly diversify the company's future revenue streams.
