SBI Life Insurance has launched 'Smart Shield Plus', a new individual, non-linked, non-participating pure risk term insurance plan.

This future-ready solution offers flexible coverage options like Level Cover, Increasing Cover (5% annual increase), and a Future Proofing Benefit allowing sum assured enhancements at major life events without additional medical tests.

Policyholders can choose various death benefit payment methods.

The plan also includes a 'Better Half Benefit', providing the surviving spouse with an extra life cover of ₹0.25 Cr or 50% of the sum assured, whichever is lower.

This new offering aims to meet evolving consumer protection needs.
