Promoters of Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Limited have encumbered their entire stake, representing 75.91% of the company's total share capital.

This move, effective from September 19, 2025, secures a term loan facility of up to US$ 500 million for the Promoters.

The funds are intended for distributions to the Promoters' investors, repayment of their shareholder loans, and covering transaction costs, not directly for the operational benefit of Leela Palaces.

The value of the encumbered shares is approximately US$ 1.2 billion, providing a security cover of about 2.4 times the loan amount.
