Vodafone Idea has invested Rs. 0.00026 Cr as the first tranche to acquire a 26% equity stake in Aditya Birla Renewables SPV 3 Limited (ABRen SPV 3). This is part of a larger Rs. 1.56 Cr proposed investment.

ABRen SPV 3 is establishing a Captive Solar Power Plant in Maharashtra.

This strategic move aims to ensure regulatory compliance for captive power plants and secure cost-effective renewable energy for Vodafone Idea, enhancing operational efficiency.

The acquisition connects to its promoter group, Grasim Industries Limited.
