Fino Payments Bank's Q2 & H1 FY26 results are a mixed picture. 📉 Q2 revenue dipped 12% YoY to ₹400.1 Cr, with PBT down 18% to ₹21.2 Cr.
H1 saw revenue at ₹853.5 Cr (-4% YoY) and PBT at ₹45.9 Cr (-9% YoY). This softness is largely due to shifts in traditional transaction business.
On the bright side, the Bank is building a strong ownership franchise!
Average deposits surged 36% YoY to ₹2,306 Cr at a low 1.9% cost of funds.
They opened a record 9.1 lakh accounts this quarter.
Digital is powering ahead: digital throughput jumped 32% YoY to ₹62.8K Cr, with daily UPI transactions growing 33% YoY to ~1 Cr.
Digital now contributes 16% of revenue.
Fino reported its 23rd consecutive profitable quarter, and EBITDA margin expanded to 15.4% (vs 12.6% in Q2 FY25). H1 FY26 annualized EPS stands at ₹8.0. Looking forward, the Bank is investing in a new Core Banking Solution, and RBI evaluation for a Small Finance Bank license is progressing.
Management anticipates a revival in digital and Cash Management Services (CMS) in H2 FY26. 🚀
