City Union Bank posted solid H1 FY26 results with deposits growing 21% YoY to ₹69,486 Cr and advances up 18% YoY to ₹57,561 Cr, pushing total business to ₹1,27,047 Cr.
Net Profit for H1 FY26 climbed 15% to ₹634.5 Cr.
Asset quality improved significantly, with Gross NPA at 2.42% and Net NPA at 0.90%. ROA is 1.57%, ROE 13.15%, and NIM 3.59%. The Gold Loan portfolio saw a strong 32% YoY rise.
The bank's strategy continues its focus on the high-yielding SME/MSME segment, supported by a stable retail liability base and robust capital adequacy (CRAR 21.68%). Recent highlights include celebrating 120 years of operations.
The bank launched multiple digital innovations at the Global Fintech Fest, like UPI Circle for IoT devices, AI-powered UPI Help, a Multi Signatory UPI feature, and an AI-enabled MSME Corporate Card.
New UPI features for biometric/Aadhaar authentication and Micro ATM cash withdrawals further enhance digital offerings.
