Alembic Pharmaceuticals delivered a strong Q2 FY26, with revenue climbing 16% YoY to INR 1910 Cr and Net Profit surging 41% YoY to INR 185 Cr.
EBIDTA also grew 26% to INR 324 Cr.
Growth was broad-based: US Generics jumped 21% to INR 566 Cr driven by new product launches and market share gains, while Ex-US Generics soared 31% to INR 392 Cr from targeted execution and market expansion.
India Branded business recorded 5% growth to INR 639 Cr, and API revenue increased 15% to INR 314 Cr due to higher volumes.
Strategically, Alembic is focused on expanding its global offerings, particularly in Ex-US markets, and developing complex and specialty products for the US.
Recent developments include 7 new product launches in H1 FY26 for the US, with over 10 more anticipated in H2 FY26. R&D investment stood at 10% of revenue, underscoring pipeline development.
Management anticipates steady growth for the API business and continued momentum from its US and Ex-US product pipelines.
