Tata Power is set to acquire a 40% equity stake in a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for approximately ₹1,572 crore.

This SPV will develop the 1125 MW Dorjilung Hydro Power Project in Bhutan, with a total project cost of around ₹13,100 crore.

This strategic move accelerates Tata Power's clean and green energy transition, significantly boosting its renewable energy portfolio and expanding its footprint into Bhutan's power sector.
