Mphasis promoter BCP Topco IX Pte.

Ltd. has sold 1.80 Cr shares (9.46% stake) in an on-market transaction.

This reduces the promoter's holding in Mphasis from 40.10% to 30.64%. This share sale also resulted in a proportional reduction in shares that were effectively encumbered.

To clarify, Mphasis shares were not directly pledged by the promoter; instead, the parent company of BCP Topco had pledged its stake in BCP Topco for a USD 1.1 billion loan.
