BASF India has secured 'no objection' from both BSE and NSE for its demerger scheme.

This clears a path to spin off its Agricultural Solutions Business into a new, separately listed entity, BASF Agricultural Solutions India Limited (BASIL). The strategic move aims to create focused operations, potentially unlocking value for existing shareholders.

BASIL is set to list and commence trading separately after National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approval, providing current BASF India shareholders direct ownership in a pure-play agriculture business.
