Torrent Power is set to acquire 100% of Nabha Power Limited from L&T Power Development for Rs 3,660.87 Cr.

Nabha Power owns and operates a 2x700 MW supercritical coal-based thermal power plant in Punjab, reporting FY25 turnover of INR 4421.54 Cr.

This strategic acquisition significantly expands Torrent Power's thermal generation portfolio.

It also strengthens the company's footprint in Northern India, aligning with its integrated power strategy.

The deal aims to enhance operational reach and asset base, pending regulatory approval.
