SpiceJet has received a Memorandum of Understanding for inducting 10 aircraft, marking a significant step in its ongoing capacity expansion and fleet rebuilding efforts.

This follows a Board approval for ramping up the fleet to 60 aircraft.

The airline doubled its capacity last quarter, with Available Seat Kilometres rising to 105 Cr.

SpiceJet now plans to more than double capacity this year, targeting 220 Cr Available Seat Kilometres and over 300 daily flights by Winter 2026. This expansion aims to strengthen connectivity, enhance operational reliability, and meet strong passenger demand.
