Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABDL) is acquiring up to a 50% stake in Kion Blenders Industries, investing up to Rs. 45 Cr.

KION will become an ABDL subsidiary.

KION plans to establish a 200 KLPD distillery in Andhra Pradesh with a total project investment of around Rs. 300 Cr.

This strategic move aims to significantly boost ABDL's distillation capacity, enhance margins, and strengthen its supply chain security through backward integration into Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) and ethanol production, solidifying its position in the AlcoBev industry.
