Tata Power is expanding its clean energy footprint by acquiring a 40% stake in Dorjilung Hydro Power Limited (DHPL) in Bhutan.

This strategic move involves a total investment of approximately ₹1,572 Cr, with the first tranche of ₹50 Cr already completed.

DHPL is developing a significant 1125 MW hydro power project, crucial for Tata Power's accelerated transition towards clean and green energy.

This acquisition strengthens their renewable portfolio and expands their presence in the hydropower sector, a key long-term growth driver.
