Spandana Sphoorty reported strong Q1FY27 performance with Assets Under Management (AUM) growing 11% QoQ to ₹4,887 Cr, driven by ₹1,371 Cr in disbursements.
Profit after tax (PAT) surged to ₹12 Cr, up from ₹5 Cr last quarter, reflecting improved asset quality.
GNPA and NNPA improved to 3.6% and 0.7% respectively.
Net collection efficiency also rose to 95.9%. Strategic focus areas include expanding into micro markets like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, engaging existing and new customers, and launching an individual loan portfolio.
Operational efficiencies are being boosted by a new agile platform and a branch revival initiative.
The company is also exploring affordable LAP products.
