Jay Ushin Limited has received a Show Cause Notice from the Assistant Commissioner, Goods and Services Tax.

The notice alleges GST dues of **Rs 1.22 Cr**, along with interest and penalty, for alleged discrepancies in Input Tax Credit reconciliation for FY2023-24. The company believes this proposed demand is unjustified, stating its GST returns were correctly filed and previously audited without issue.

It will be filing a reply to the GST authorities.

Jay Ushin does not anticipate a material financial impact, expecting any liability to be limited to the final outcome of adjudication.
