SH Kelkar kicked off FY27 with a strong Q1 performance.
Consolidated revenue rose 14.1% year-on-year to Rs 662 crore.
Profit (PAT) jumped 77.4% to Rs 45 crore, with EPS climbing to Rs 3.2. EBITDA grew 21.3% to Rs 89 crore, pushing margins to 13.4%. The Flavour segment was a star performer, surging 63.2% in revenue to Rs 112 crore, fueled by robust international demand.
The Fragrance business also saw healthy 9% growth, reaching Rs 539 crore.
Global Ingredients, however, recorded a softer quarter with revenue down 44.7% to Rs 8 crore due to lower export market demand.
Growth is driven by strong customer relationships, a diverse product portfolio, and continued investment in R&D and Creative Development Centres.
The company is leveraging these expanded capabilities to deepen partnerships and broaden its opportunity pipeline.
Management expects double-digit revenue growth and improved margins for the full year, despite a fluid global environment and raw material volatility.
The focus remains on financial discipline and deleveraging over the medium term, with Net Debt to Equity at 0.65x.
