NPR Finance has informed shareholders about a special window for dematerializing physical securities.

This regulatory initiative facilitates the transfer of physical shares bought or sold before April 1, 2019, including previously rejected requests.

Transferred shares will be compulsorily credited in demat form and subject to a one-year lock-in period.

Shareholders can submit transfer requests to the company's RTA or email for assistance during this special window, which remains open until February 4, 2027. This move aims to streamline old physical shareholding into electronic format.
