VRL Logistics reported a historic Q1 FY27 profit of Rs. 81 Cr, up from Rs. 50 Cr YoY.
Revenue grew 18% to Rs. 885 Cr.
EBITDA increased 22% to Rs. 193 Cr, with margins rising to 21.8%. This was driven by a 9% rise in freight rates (to Rs. 8,546/ton) and 9% volume growth, aided by new branch additions and recovering lost customers.
Net debt reduced to Rs. 391 Cr.
The board approved a Rs. 280 Cr share buyback.
Management projects 8% volume growth for FY27, maintaining 20-21% EBITDA margins, fueled by organic expansion and disciplined cost control.
Management is confident in future growth and shareholder returns.
