Spencer's Retail reported a robust Q1 FY27, with consolidated revenue hitting ₹469 Cr, marking a strong 13% YoY and 8% QoQ growth.
Consolidated EBITDA surged to ₹9.4 Cr, a significant 2X improvement year-on-year.
PBT losses also narrowed to (-)₹60 Cr from (-)₹62 Cr last year.
The positive performance was driven by Spencer's standalone business, which grew 18% YoY.
Its online segment (Jiffy) achieved 50% growth, demonstrating unit order profitability and customer stickiness, while offline grew 14%. Natures Basket also saw 8% QoQ growth.
The online subsidiary, ORIPL, boosted its GMV by 47% YoY, significantly reducing losses by cutting marketing expenses.
Management highlighted that strong sales momentum, coupled with a strategy focused on improving store effectiveness and operational efficiencies through tight cost controls, is paying off.
