Profit After Tax (PAT) also saw a significant jump of 27% YoY to ₹163 Cr, while EBITDA rose 30% YoY to ₹260 Cr.

EPS for the quarter was ₹5.33. The company is strategically focused on transforming into a leading Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP), offering end-to-end smart solutions for electricity, gas, and water.

A key growth driver is their robust order book, standing at over ₹24,020 Cr (net of taxes) as of June 2026, providing substantial revenue visibility.

They also have a strategic partnership with GIC to expand AMISP capabilities.

Management expects FY27 revenue to be between ₹6,000–6,500 Cr, aiming to install 1 Cr smart meters this year.

They anticipate improved working capital efficiency and positive operating cash flow from FY28. The smart metering market remains vast, with 31-32 Cr electricity meters expected to transition.

Genus is also exploring gas (India opportunity ₹35,000–36,000 Cr in 3-4 years) and water metering, and international markets.

Near-term margins are affected by raw material costs, but long-term growth looks strong.
