UPL's subsidiary, Advanta BV, is acquiring Misr Hytech Seed International S.A.E.

(Hytech Egypt) for approximately US$110 million, securing a 99.98% stake.

This strategic move positions Advanta as an immediate leader in the rapidly expanding Middle East & Africa seed market, particularly for white and yellow corn.

Hytech Egypt, an agricultural seeds company, reported turnovers between US$25.7 million and US$37.6 million in the past three years.

This acquisition strengthens UPL's global seeds business and expands its geographic footprint significantly.
