Indo Borax & Chemicals has announced the acquisition of a 64.26% stake in Kronox Lab Sciences, a manufacturer of high-purity specialty chemicals, for ₹246.12 Cr.

This strategic move diversifies Indo Borax's portfolio into stable, high-growth sectors and aims to expand Kronox Lab Sciences' business.

A mandatory open offer will follow for up to an additional 25.79% stake, potentially increasing Indo Borax's holding to over 90%. Kronox Lab Sciences reported a turnover of ₹101.22 Cr in FY26, highlighting the target's significant scale.
