JSW Infrastructure has acquired a 100% stake in NCR Rail Infrastructure Limited through its step-down subsidiary via an insolvency resolution process.

The deal involves a total acquisition cost of ₹467.47 Cr, plus an additional ₹41.94 Cr for purchasing ~39.57 acres of land.

Through this transaction, its subsidiary AMD Business Support Services also becomes a step-down subsidiary.

The strategic rationale is the integration and expansion of the logistics business, leveraging NCR Rail's Private Freight Terminal in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, featuring six rail lines, warehouses, and a ~130-acre land bank.
