GE Vernova T&D bagged a domestic contract from Power Grid Corporation for the design and establishment of a 6000 MW HVDC Terminal Station from Barmer II to South Kalamb. The project will be executed over a period of multiple years.
GE Vernova T&D India secured a multi-year contract from AESL Projects. This order is for designing and establishing a 2500 MW, ± 500 kV HVDC VSC Terminal Station to evacuate renewable power from KPS 3 (Khavda) to South Olpad.
GE Vernova T&D secured a contract from PGCIL for the refurbishment of the 2x 500 MW HVDC Chandrapur back-to-back link. Scope includes upgrading HVDC Thyristor Valves and Controls. Execution is expected over multiple years. Contract value not disclosed.
