Mahindra & Mahindra reported strong August sales: overall auto sales grew 42% to 107,648 vehicles, and SUVs rose 50% to 59,257 units. Tractor sales increased 5% to 27,595 units. Trucks & Buses sales surged 47% to 2,495 vehicles, aided by the new BLAZO i-TRK launch.
Mahindra expands its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program to all Electric Origin SUVs (BE 6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S, XEV 9e). This significantly lowers upfront EV purchase costs, with models now starting from ₹1.145 Cr plus battery financing at ₹3.75/km, aiming to boost EV adoption.
Mahindra's MEAL launched the BE 6 SPORTEQ EV series, starting at ₹ 11.45 Lakh with a Battery-as-a-Service option. It features a futuristic three-screen cockpit and AI-powered TEQ Suites. Existing BE 6/XEV owners will receive feature updates via OTA starting January.
