Prashant India has entered into an agreement to sell its Wind Power Division, located at Dhank, Rajkot, to M/s. Arbuda Metal Industry.

The sale of used windmill/scrap is for a total consideration of 0.85 Cr plus applicable tax, with 0.50 Cr already received as an advance.

This divestment follows a shareholder resolution for disposing of the company's undertaking.

In the last financial year, this unit contributed 0.11 Cr to turnover and 0.93 Cr to net worth.

The transaction is expected to be completed within 30 days and is not a related party transaction.

This move streamlines operations.
