UPL Limited, through its subsidiary Advanta Seed International, has acquired Advanta Investment Limited, a newly incorporated entity in the Cayman Islands.

This strategic move secures a 100% stake for a nominal cash consideration of US$1. The acquisition establishes a dedicated vehicle to identify and invest in technology and intellectual property ventures directly or indirectly related to the seeds business.

This positions UPL to enhance its innovation pipeline and strengthen its long-term strategic capabilities in the agri-tech space.
