RRIL's Board has approved acquiring an additional 25% equity in Sumati Spintex Private Limited (SSPL) for up to Rs. 3.11 crore in cash.

This move will increase RRIL's total stake in SSPL to 75%, granting greater control for better business integration.

SSPL, a yarn manufacturer, reported turnovers of Rs. 148.42 crore in FY25, Rs. 150.62 crore in FY24, and Rs. 141.95 crore in FY23. This acquisition, expected by September 30, 2026, aims to enhance operational synergies and is considered an arm's length transaction despite common promoters.
